Insurance credentialing is the process of being approved by a payer to treat its members and be paid as an in-network provider. Until it is complete, insured patients either pay out of network or go elsewhere.

Credentialing is slow mainly because applications sit incomplete or unanswered. We submit complete applications, check status on a fixed schedule and respond to every payer request the same week, which is what keeps timelines short.

How it works

  1. Payer plan

We agree on which payers to apply to, in which order, based on your patients and location.

  2. Document collection

One checklist for licenses, malpractice, board certification and work history.

  3. Applications and follow-up

We submit, then call and check portals until each payer decides.

  4. Go-live

We confirm effective dates and fee schedules so billing can start cleanly.

Insurance Credentialing FAQs

How long does insurance credentialing take?

It depends on the payer. Many finish in 30 to 60 days and some commercial plans take 90 days or more. We give you a payer-by-payer estimate up front and start the slowest ones first.

How much does it cost?

$150 per payer application, paid upfront because it covers work we do before the payer decides. Credentialing is also included in our Patient Acquisition Program and Precision Claim Management package.

Can every payer accept me?

Not always. Some commercial networks close panels in certain areas or specialties. We tell you early when a panel looks closed and look for ways in, such as group contracts or plan-specific openings.
